All The Downy Mildews

The Crouch laboratory seeks to understand the biodiversity of emergent and quarantine-significant oomycete pathogens of horticultural and agricultural plants.  Our lab combines morphological and genetic analyses to access species boundaries in order to develop better tools for detecting, diagnosing, and monitoring disease outbreaks. We're currently focusing our efforts on downy mildews of grains and grasses and ornamental plants.

We appreciate samples of any diseased plants.
